Cametrics are entering a team of six into the annual Chariots of Fire race on Sunday.

The event, which takes place on Sunday 21 September from Queens’ Green in Cambridge, is based on the famous film, “Chariots of Fire”. Teams of six run a 1.7 mile circuit through the colleges and along the Cam. Trophies are awarded to the fastest team in each category consisting of women, men, mixed, college and veteran.

The proceeds of the event will be donated to Romsey Mill and Red Balloon – Cambridge. Romsey Mill provides essential support and skills development for young people and families facing disadvantages such as lack of opportunities, marginalisation and poverty. Red Balloon works towards the recovery of severely bullied children in their Learner Centres.

The team has been organised by Emma Price, Technical Sales Consultant, who says, "We are hoping to raise money for these worthy charities, while having some fun."

Anyone wishing to sponsor the team should contact Emma on 01223 262300.
