Case Study – Next Generation Sign
Situation
Yorkshire SWYPTE needed small sign technology on bus stops to assist passengers using the system. Available signs were not suitable because of their high cost and inappropriate size. Acis, a high technology telematics company had a product concept and approached Cametrics.
Action
The two companies worked together to develop a system architecture to meet budget requirements. Cametrics supplied:

- Technologies to implement
- Small board computer
- Modify board for additional IO
- Hardware drivers for Linux platform
- Developed sign application software
